A style of photography I have recently started to enjoy, while sitting in the passenger seat, I often see things that appeal to be but am unable to stop, timing can be tricky and frustrating but I've managed to take a few that I was happy with, thought I would share them.

Would love to see everyone else drive by shots as well!

This one was taking at about 60 mph

Correction this one was taken at approx 55-60 mph.

This one was taken at approx 30 mph.

Finally someone's started a thread on my specialty!

I wasn't driving very fast, but taking this out the passenger window from the driver's seat was tricky.

I wonder if you've come across a book by a New York taxi driver called David Bradford with the title "Drive-By Shootings". The difference is he takes photos from behind the wheel without looking through the viewfinder. I've tried it with limited success using my Sony U10. Of course the limitations of the camera don't help. But my Olympus is far too big and slow for this purpose.

That's how all of mine are done. I'll have to look that book up!
I have a Gallery at pBase with more of these. Here's a couple of my favorites from my trip this Summer, driving past the Mount Shasta area on I-5. I don't know exactly how fast we were going; between watching for photo-ops and traffic I had no eyes left for the spedometer.

Along humorous lines:
Daniel's Auto Sales - 45 mph at the time
Shooting Range - slowed to 10 mph - little traffic
Coward's - pulled into adjacent parking lot

Good thread and some pretty good snaps.
Mine's not that great but I thought it was worth sharing. I was traveling at about 75mph.

Wow, you made it easy for us to insert a thumbnail. Thank-you!
I might add that I was driving.

My first attempt at night time shooting, took it out the side window, going about 30-35 mph on the way to dinner with family.

Bought my 10D in New York. Had it 1 day. Snapshots heading to the airport, taken from the back of a moving cab.

Hey, I had a 24 hour flight ahead of me without being able to use my new toy, I HAD to use it!

I took this one at about 50km/h, one week after I'd been be photographed for speeding on this street (which photograph was of really bad quality and composition). My turn, I then found it funny and interesting to take pictures of nice people in the street...
