the image that was previously in 4th place in the fruits & vegetables challenge has been disqualified due to a date violation. congratulations to IreneM for her fifth place finish.

be sure to check the date on your cameras!

Alrighty then...my second highest photo ever has now moved to 22nd place in this challenge. ;-)

Jace...that's unfortunate. However, since you are now living in Seattle, you'll have plenty more excellent photo ops to make up for this one.

I now have two major rules of photography.
1. Always check to make sure the time and date are set correctly for the time zone I'm in, unless I'm in a different time/space/dimension and then it doesn’t matter.
2. Never try to take food out of the mouth of a hungry grizzly bear.

I wouldn't even try to GIVE food to a hungry grizzly.

Ok, so the second rule is more a life rule than a photography (g)

Ah that stinks. I feel your pain though. I was DQ'd once for wrong date. Funny thing is, I was sure to check my date before shooting, however I didn't look close enough. Had the month and day correct, but was a year behind, LOL!
