Does this even look right?just playing around in photoshop...

If your goal was to give the appearance of body motion/rotation (in creepy Exorcist-like fashion), then yes it looks right. otherwise it's gonna give me nightmares.

ps edit: some of the others in your portfolio (camshadow, for example) are awesome. nothing i like better than seeing a proud papa :)
