Who ya picking?
I think Tony Stewart will win, but still routing for jr..

I agree, Tony is due. I am pulling for Mark Martin however. Edit to add. I know this isn't nice but I am hoping to see alot of Toyotas in the junk yard tomorrow at least for this race. The Great American Race needs to be won by an American Car.

Tony would be a good call, Dale Jr is due one. But, I'm pulling for Carl Edwards.

I believe he has a great car, I just dont think he has enough experience driving around in circles to stay with the Nascar Vets for 500 miles especially not at this track. However He should be a force by the time they roll back through Daytona in July

I am going for Jimmie Johnson today.

I do agree with you on the Toyota part. I hope the "big one" happens today with all Toyota's.

Oh come on guys, Toyota is good for NASCAR. It stirs the pot up some.

The only issue I'm having with Toyota is that I can't figure out what type of engine they are running. Ford is running a 351, Chevy a 350, Dodge a 360. But, as far as I know, Toyota has never had a V8 that wasn't an overhead valve engine, so what the hell are they using?

maybe they are running Yates Motors. lol
I have no problem with Toyota in Nascar. But I do not want them to win their first race at Daytona. Especailly in light of what has happened in the Waltrip Camp the past couple of weeks. I am hoping the Toyotas get spanked today.

I think one of the Punk Busch brothers will win.

that just SUCKS!!! inexcusable not to have thrown the yellow when those cars started piling up...

aw, gratz to harvick, a man many love to hate. just wish martin had gotten it. what an awesome race.

Yeah, Mark would have been a great sentimental winner, but the broadcasters made a fine point. The crash was behind them, so letting the leaders race it out was the best call. Also, the caution could have been thrown with either two leading, so there would have been controversy wither way. I was pulling for Smoke, and finishing dead last was the last thing I thought he'd do. Oh well.

There was a race at Daytona today?.....I thought the race was yesterday. Us Aussies only care about the BGN racing at the moment. & I was very happy to see that our man Marcos Ambrose did well to keep it clean & come home on the lead lap (16th I think & highest placed Rookie)

Cant wait till Mexico when he will be in a Cup Car

Gawd, that was a hell of a finish. I can't recall offhand ever having seen someone finish a race upside-down and on dire before :-) And, for what it's worth, even though I was pulling for marlin at the end I believe the officials made the right call letting them race through the final portion of the final lap, since the crash was all behind them and didn't affect them at all, except possibly emotionally via the rear-view mirrors...

The whole family was disappointed today! My brother is a Stewart fan, his girl a Jr. fan, my husband was rooting for Biffle and I'm hoping Rudd has a good race/year. AND THEY ALL CRASHED! Crazy how the 07 finished/crossed the line upside down! Luckily all turned out well there!

I agree but in any other race they would have thrown the yellow. Anytime a crash happens the caution flag comes out, right then an there! They don't let them race another turn like they did tonight. Nascar seems to make the rules up as they go anyways. Great race though.

I'm mostly a Ford guy, but RCR is back this year baby. I'm making the call now... Harvick will be the 2007 champion.

That is the absolute truest thing you will ever say. You can only make it truer by adding the words "and penalties" after the word "rules".

Freaking buncha redneck WWE wannabes done went and ruined racing.

Luv to watch 'em, but I wish Brian France was back in the playpen where he belongs.

All in good nature, of course :)
