Open for critique and opinion.

and my submitted entry

I was wanting to give a feel of the full cycle with these shots. I got some good comments on my submitted entry and will likely reshoot it using some of the ideas.

Thanks.

I still like the one you submitted the best. The first one is very interesting. I like the the blurred rings and flowers and the focused bottle. Very creative. I don't think most the voters would get it though. I don't care for the 2nd one because I would rather see both rings in focus. I know I am picky.

BTW~great shot!

I like the composition of the second one a lot -- with some larger DOF so both rings are in focus, this would be great. That said, I really like the entry you submitted a lot.

I like the one you submitted best. Good idea also.

My personal favorite is the second one. I like the perspective and the more non-literal view on that shot... very nice work :)

Very nice work.

I like the idea of the second photo setup better with drawing more attention to the rings.

I have been very busy remodeling around the house before the holidays and I did not enter or vote in the still live challenge but it looks like the voting would have been tough. One of the best challenges I have seen lately.

I liked the original but I LOVE the second one with just the rings on the petals, I would really LOVE IT if it was all in focus, the way it's set now gives the impression that the woman is secondary to the man, I know, it sounds crazy but that's the first impression I got.

Do the second again! :) Pretty Please?
