Which color do you see on your monitor in this still life entry ? It is intended to be a soft orange color.

Would like to know which color you see, since on my home monitor my still life entry has a soft orange color, while at work it is more pink. I hope my work monitor is badly calibrated and home is correct.

i see a gradient that goes from pink in the upper right corner down to orange and then to white in the center...

though i'd say its more of a peach than an orange.

when i go into work i'll check on that monitor, which i know is different from mine at home (read crappier) so i'll tell you what i see there as well.

i hate this monitor issue. you can never really tell what anyone else will see when they view your photo. its such a drag.

I see darker pink in upper right corner, blending to pale orange, then to a pale ivory in lower left corner. good shot by the way.

yes, peach is the right word, that is a better description than orange, peach is how it was intended to be.

the middle lighter areas have a coral color to them while the dark shadows are a rose. definitely not orange.

lovely image by the way :o)

I know about the monitor/display thing, I had the same very concerns about this entry for the book titles. At home it looks good, at work it looks dark. On a few others its everywhere in-between. I don't have any idea how too approach this issue.

I'd say a pinkish-coral pastel shade. Certainly not orange, or anything in that range.

The only way to approach the monitor issue, is to not post images depending on subtlety of colour or of graduation too much.

A very dark blue tinged with green.

Oh, OK - varying hues of pink and peach. ; )

more on the peachy coral side and in the lighter areas almost a bit of beige with a peachy tint. NO ORANGE ANYWHERE!

I see a light melon orange. Fades a little bit but not quite pink because still maintains the melon flavor.

nearly raspberry (top right) via peach to white (diagonally down and left) in fading gradients.

I see a gradient from dark coral to something resembling opaque sepia. Beautiful photograph.
