I guess I'm a little confused... I thought that week one started Sunday night at roll over and included the Tuesday night opens. How can week one be done if voting isn't over on the opens... Please clarify for us slow ones.

Your right! when it post on Sunday thats just halftime. Week one results will be final Tuesday night at rollover.

This was just a test to see if I had the bugs out and letting everyone know where their team stands.

Scott, I may have it wrong. But we get the team score by averaging the 4 highest individual scores right? If so, I think our average should be 5.75895 but it shows us at 5.3832. I can't see what scores might be missing though. The 4 players listed below have our 4 highest scores. Are they all showing up for you?

Sher
Ericwoo
mpeters
Hopper

Thanks for the help.

I think it is because sher has changed her name from sher9204 to just sher. On the WPL site her name is still her old one and then isn't picked up when scores are registered.

Yes that would pose a problem. If a photographers name is misspelled or they change their name and don't let me know the macro will not recognize there name and thus give them a zero instead of what they scored.

I will update here name in the database and re-run the macro to update. But it will be tomorrow to give anyone else that may be having a problem time to post. That way I can do it all at one time.

Hi Scott bobdaveants score doesn't show up, maybe because his name is misspelled as bobdeveant?

Is there any place where we can view the scores of our teammates and competitors individually to see where the final averages came from?

I'm working hard to fix everything. The WPL site is loosing data every time I update. A major crisis right now and don't know how I'm going to fix four weeks of work in one day. Entering manually is not an option so I have to get this fixed or WPL4 will have to be put on hold until problem solved.

Here is the issue. I usually host WPL at www.knology.net/~scottwhid but my provider has issued a bandwidth overage and when I try to upload it just scrambles everything.

The host www.worldphotoleague.com is a XHTML, PHP, MySQL with apache site. When I try to upload something from excel their it breaks apart and looses data. It will have to be built to enter scores and allow php to along with MySQL to return the results.

I have been pulling my hair out since Sunday night when I found out about the unforeseen problem!

Sorry,
SDW

ETA: the excel work book I use and upload is also scrambling the order of teams and scores. I must have some functions incorrectly placed. I have a macro to load all the scores but when it goes to sort I effects every page.

I will continue to work on this issue.
