Hello everyone :-) I was looking at the former challenges this afternoon and it occurred to me that "Bridges" is one of the most beautiful challenge I´ve seen here. With all these new people around, I believe this 2nd edition will be even better. What do you think?

I would agree with that. There are some nice bridges around here that most haven’t seen I would guess.

We have a new bridge opening this week and one where the construction is getting visible. Too bad you can only shoot them from the freeway. This is the new Carquinez Bridge, opening this week (taken last Summer).

You must take the photo during the challenge week, old photos are exempt from the challenge.

If I could guarantee the same conditions, I'd go for another one like this of the Golden Gate. It did, however, undergo a lot of post-processing so would probably be disqualified anyway ;)

Your image adds a degree of "moodiness" not typical of shots from this location. I've been working recently on capturing cloud detail and texture like that, but not quite so successfully. (copied to photo comments too)
