A while back I was looking in to Sigma's 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 DG Macro lens and from the reviews Ive read and responses Ive gotten here all point to the conclusion that the lens is pretty much crap and yet I stumble on another review at ephotozine.com and they say its not that great esp on the long end but looking at their own photos supposedly shot with Sigma's 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 DG Macro lens at 300mm (IMAGE MAY NOT BE DIAL UP FRIENDLY) I think this rivals a lot of lenses that are double in price.
Is it me or is there something wrong with this picture? I thought about downloading the photo and checking for exif info but have noting at work here that will read that info...

The image looks great to me. I downloaded it and tried to read the Exif info, but the file must've been altered, as the exif info is gone. |
