4.5 hours by plane from Indianapolis to Phoenix.

Best friends are awful. I'd never want a best friend. Just watch Daytime TV. "My best friend stole my man", "My best friend lied to me", "I married my best friend only to find out s/he's a man and a porn star"...

Seriously though it's not all bad. I live thousands of miles from one of my closest friends and we still have a great relationship. Obvioulsy we don't get to hang out like we used to but it's fun to catch up with what's going on in each of our lives. Plus now you have somewhere new to visit and shoot. |

Just a suggestion.....how about a surprise going away party. My sister threw one for me. All my friends and family was there.

that's not a bad idea! hmmm...
i know it's not the end of the world -- i have lots of really good friends in lots of different time zones. but this one is hitting me harder than others. :/
BUT i am always in the mood for tequila and tacos and smog, so it's not that bad. and she will have a pool. :) |

My best friend of 25 years is in Austin, TX now. We still talk lots - phone - email - yahoo. Just talked to her a couple of days ago... she's getting new boobs! LOL

Aww bummer dude, I know how that is. I was normally the one moving though. Unfortunately for me, my best friend doesn't want to talk to me anymore which is sad for me. But look at it this way, at least you'll now have a cool new place to visit and take fabulous photos! 8o)
