don't mix your drinks. If you choose beer, drink that all night. Beware of sweet drinks..they give wicked bad hangovers, and if you are going to any place at all seedy, only drink bottled drinks, not mixed ones.

Good luck, be safe and have fun!

First two rules of clubbing: no falling down, no throwing up. :)

My personal fave is Grey Goose and Red Bull, but really, it's all good. Pick a theme and stick to it, or you'll be sorry tomorrow.

I thought the drinking age in Canada was 6 and drinking was required by law at 12. ...maybe that was Germany.

I would say to stay away from the hard stuff and take it slow. And I saw a good pick-up line in another recent thread a few minutes ago you could try that out.

Good luck, don't drive & we'll expect some pics in the morning. :)

That's a girly drink!!! It's almost a Cosmopolitan which is the girliest of the girl drinks!!

First of all, eat something greasy just before you hit the club. I have heard that it lines the stomach.

Secondly, what you drink is purely a matter of personal preference. I used to drink beer because everyone else did and then I thought, to hell with it, I will drink what I want to drink, which, having a sweet tooth, is alcoholic cider. Try asking the bartender.

Finally, for goodness sake, DONT DRINK HEAPS! If you've never had alcohol before your body will be affected by it more than if you've been drinking for a while. A wise thing to do is have a glass of water between each drink as alcohol dehydrates you and the water also breaks up your intake.

Have fun!

Yeah, I think anything with a "splash" of anything is probably a girly drink.

edit: That should be a man-law.

Excepting, of course, a scotch with a splash of soda?

Well, whatever advice we give you here you'll end up getting plastered anyway. It's the only way you're gonna learn!

Yes... man-law... I second it!!!

In all seriousness, you may want to go easy if this is really your first time. Mixed drinks have a bad way of creeping up behind you and taking you from behind WITHOUT WARNING!!!

You might want to start with plain old beer. If you've never drank before, you probably won't like the taste which will prevent you from overdoing it.

That's good advice. With sweet drinks you don't taste the alcohol and misjudge.

Don't ever walk away from your drink, and if you must walk away to pee or whatevah, get a new drink when you come back.

No, I think "Scotch & Soda" or some manlier way to say it.

You sound like an expensive date. A brand new drink *every* time you go to the loo? ;-)
