| Has anyone else noticed that their entire site has been down all day? What's up with that? |

Which brings up a big question on my mind - what will happen to our money if any of these microstock sites just shut down one of these days? We seem to be dealing with a web address most of the time, like most "businesses" on the internet.
nyone with bad experiences?

Actually, yeah.. I had a few images posted with this one site that just out of nowhere shut down. Never had any sales, but I was brought there by someone who had done quite well. I believe the site was totallyphotos.com.
DT has had their downtimes before. The last time brought a few days of technical glitches.. so I guess they're battling some issues again. |

The reason I asked is because in the brick and mortar business world, vendors who "consign" stocks to retailers can at least physically monitor their dealers but here when we consign photos to a site, we may not even get true sales figures if the people running those sites are unscrupulous. Worse still, I sometimes get the impression microstock sites behave like their contributors are just a bunch of idiots to be treated like so. Guess they don't really have much retail experiences.

| It looks like they are back up and running. My sales there have SUCKED lately, although in all honesty they were never all that brisk on DT to begin with. But I should get enough for a payout within the next couple months, so they had better not shut down completely! |
