Not sure in anyone has seen this offer yet. Pretty decent magazine, mostly photo content. Free issues to the first 5000 people to respond. US only due to shipping prices. JPG Magazine You do have to sign up, but that also allows you to post images for consideration in upcoming issues.

hmmmmmmmmm, where's the free part?

NO Partial Desaturation (aka "Cutouts")

Desaturating part of an image to direct the eye to the remaining color part is a cute technique, but we'll never print it and we don't accept it on the website. It violates our "mostly unmodified" rule, and, besides, it's just annoying.

PLEAASE, can we have this rule here!

OK, found the deal. Sign up for the website and then check your email. You'll get a link for one free issue of the magazine. Meanwhile, check out the site -- they pay $100 each for any images that they print.....

From their site:
1. Shoot & Upload
Go take great photos like you always do. Then upload the best ones here. Photos must be high resolution originals - at least 2200 pixels tall or wide. Remember, JPG doesn't want all your photos - we want your best photos.

2. Submit
You can submit your favorite photos to themes. Themes are groups of photos on a common topic. You can only put one photo in each theme, and each photo can only be submitted to a single theme, so choose carefully!

3. Vote Box
When a theme is scheduled to be included in an issue of JPG Magazine, the voting box will appear on each of the photos you've submitted to a theme.

4. Peer Review
Your fellow photographers vote on your photo. Voting is about the quality of the photo as well as how well it fits the theme. Getting lots of votes doesn't guarantee publication, but it helps! Increase your chances by encouraging your friends to vote.

5. Final Selection
The JPG editors make the final selections and put together the issue. This takes a few weeks, so please be patient. You will be notified by email on the status of your submission.

6. Publication
The issue of JPG Magazine is published! If your photo is included, you get a free year subscription and $100! If not, there'll be a new issue to submit to. Try, try again!

I got an email offering the free magazine for a month. Hmm I passed on it. Maybe I should reconsider.
