Colts will beat the Ravens
Saints will beat the Eagles

Da Bears will beat the Seahawks
Lt will beat the Pats.

Then:

Saints will beat Da Bears
Chargers will beat the Colts

Then Chargers will beat the Saints and be world Champs.

OK guys, I'm in.

Colts at the Ravens
If the Colts offense can score 30 points, they'll win. Can Peyton and co. score 30 on the Ravens? You know they can't. Ravens win.

Eagles at the Saints
Jeff Garcia rules! But can anyone beat the Saints at the Superdome? In New Orleans? With all that emotion and karma flowing in the dome? You know they can't. Saints win.

Seahawks at Da Bears
You know the old saying: Team X will go as far as player Y will carry them. The Colts and Manning. The Chargers and Tomlinson. The Ravens and Lewis. Da Bears and Grossman?? Grossman? Who are you KIDDING?? Screw it. I'm a Bears fan. I'm taking Da Bears.

Patriots at the Chargers
For me, this is the game of the week. I've already picked three home teams, so I'm gonna go with the Pats here. Why? The Chargers are great, but they are a little bit too dependent on LT. Leave it to Bill Belichick to come up with a game plan to defeat the SuperChargers. Pats win.

It's not like it matters. My life almost ended when the Chiefs threw up that stinker.

If the Colts play up to their potential, they will win it all.....MARK MY WORDS.

Now potential is one thing, execution is another..but that is what makes it fun to cheer.

Super Bowl should be -- Chargers v. Saints -- both have proper combo of defense and offense.

And sing it Rex, I despise the Patriots.

Neither do I. The colts have beaten them twice already

San Diego goes down too. The Pats usually beat teams with very young QBs.

Bears win because Seattle is banged up (and really not that good)

Philly wins unless Garcia shows to be the QB for who he really is.

Just one question.

Where are all of the Steeler Nation?
01/11/2007 09:32:06 PM · #14
I'm kinda rooting against the Saints, only because I'm gonna be in New Orleans on the 21st, and I'd rather not encounter game traffic. Then again, maybe that would be fun. I dunno.

Please let San Diego be crushed at the hands of Tom Brady whom is the lesser of 2 evils to me.

I agree with everything except for your last pick. I'm inclined to go with the Pats also but they will not stop LT. In fact they couldn't stop Maurice Jones Drew a few weeks ago not to mention Travis Henry and Ron Dayne recently had good games against New England. Fact is New England has been winning with their offense NOT their defense and Harrison is out for this week. IF they can stop LT then I agree they'll win but that's just not going to happen. This is the Chargers year.

ETA: My official picks: Ravens, Chargers, Saints, Bears

Um, thank you very much, Sienna.

For the record, we're all pacing around until they decide who the next head coach will be. I didn't even realize the playoffs were going on until I read this thread :)

I have to agree with this one. It's gonna be the Pats all the way!

You've got about 15 years on me, but I still have that picture of my 10th B-day, blowing out the candles on my Patriots cake. :)
