Hi! I'm looking to upgrade to a DSLR and was wondering if any of them used the Secure Digital (SD) memory cards? I have all of my other electronics (PDA, printer, digital camera, etc) using the same format and it would be nice to continue to have the swapability. Thanks.

I've been reading a lot lately because I'm looking for a new camera too. Here's a chart of DSLRs with storage format shown:DSLR's
The only one with SD is very pricy. Here's a chart with the next level down from SLR:near DSLR Some of these may be a good alternative for you, a couple have SD. The technology is moving very fast. If you don't see anything currently that meets your needs you can't lose by waiting.

I would not let your existing storage situation affect your choice of camera. There are far more important things to consider, and memory is cheap and getting cheaper.
That said, there are adapters available to make it possible to use the Secure Digital cards in Compact Flash slots. you want to be careful though, since the SD card+adapter is a bit longer than the CF card in some cases.
I would bet you can find a solution that will work. Bear in mind though, that you will need a large capacity card for most DSLRs. I'd recommend a minimum of 256M for the 10D/300D for instance.
A final note, for many DSLRs the speed of the card matters. Check this page...
