My wife dropped my 1-month old Canon 50mm/f1.4. Ouch!! The glass is not cracked, but it doesn't focus anymore, not even manually. Is it possible or worth it to repair it? Thanks.

go to a local camera repair and get an estimate and go from there |

Yes. The repair might run anywhere from $75 to $200, but that's cheaper than a new one, and they might even fix it under warranty. |

if it shows no signs of misuse you can most likely sucker them into saying its an internal mechanical error |

Sounds like it landed front-side-down. Be up-front, let then know it was dropped. Likely, they can tell anyway fromt the type of damage. It should be cheaper than a new lens, for sure. |
