I can think of a couple of ideas, that I like to do for brown, quite interesting as well.....

Does "sepia" class as brown..... just a thought, but my idea isn't actually "sepia".....

Aw Frack! I thought I had a wonderful idea then I remembered:

I donated my sparkling chocolate, brown ballroom gown back in May so that one lucky girl could go to the Prom in something nice.

Oh well!

Now you see, this is what bugs me: does the picture in itself have to be brown, or could you take a picture of a pink chicken and photoshop/sepia it brown and ta da you have a "brown" shot? I remember being a bit confused with the Purple challenge (okay it was the first one I submitted to, that's understandable) but top scorers took arbitrary (good) pictures and saturated them purple and did well? The subject in itself was not purple.

...and then there's the question of degrees: when is it "brown" when is it sepia, when is it coffee-cream, or yellowish brown...and so on. Who's to say what's brown??

There will be 200 shots of UPS trucks. What can brown do for you?

:)

I think I just submitted a photo, but I'm not sure this went well.

I submitted my photo, filled out all the specifics, then I clicked on 'submit', but got a new window with my photo and again all the specs, and also an 'unsubmit' button. Does this mean I have sent in my photo now?

If it went through you should see the image on the left hand side of the main page.

when I submitted and got the new page it did appear on the left of that page. When I go to the frontpage now, I don't see it. I'm sorry for these questions but it is the first time I'm sending in a photo.

If you saw it on the left side when you submitted it's OK. It won't show on the frontpage until voting starts.

You can check if itøs OK by clicking on the challenge name on the frontpage. When you do that you should go to your picture...

Pink chickens, blue bananas, green butter...the Land of Photoshop!! :) Who's to know what colour they were originally.

Pink Chicken Challenge: now there's an idea...

But have gone with a traditional idea..still not sure if it's true brown...and I've been true to myself more importantly and not colour cast the image brown. I made the effort to Think Brown. Think I sold myself out on the "For Sale" Challenge and tried to Do Like Others..sort of prostituted myself on that one I'm ashamed to say.

I predict more than one picture of something that looks like a ribbon. Brown, naturally.

Silverscreen, your nationality is revealed by your typing ... I do the same aaaall the time ... ø is next to ' on our keyboards!
