Am visiting Brugge for a few days (with husband Ganders/ Pete) as of tomorrow and only JUST thought to ask!

DOH!

I'll be logging off soon so if you don't read this within an hour of posting and fancy meeting for coffee and a hello (on Saturday or Sunday) please leave me a message at Hotel Bryghia on Oosterlingenplain.

Don't want to be nosey but just wondering if you guys share a camera or each have your own. I know I wouldn't be able to share one, but if you each had the same one then you can share things like memory cards, batteries, filters, etc.

We share it.
If we do a holiday I really want special photos from I prefer to take my film SLR in any case.
This trip we just took the digital and where I saw something I wanted a record of I just had Pete take it, explaining what I wanted in frame.
Occasionally I took a pic myself but mostly not.

BTW Brugge really is a WONDERFUL destination for a long weekend.

I carry it, she tells me what to take :-)

Mostly it works out ok, I don't think we'd be able to justify two camera (well, until the next upgrade...) - when I've had a chance to go through the pictures and put them somewhere, you'll be able to tell which were hers (the good ones) and which were mine!

I loved Bruges when I went there. Make sure you buy some chocolate, and they also make some really beautiful lace there, so buy some of that. I would absolutely kill for more of the belgian chocolate.
There's a nice palace there with beautiful gardens too. wowee. I wish I was going with you!
Have fun!

Should I add that I'm off to India in 3 days?
I haven't decided whether to take the digital (if Pete doesn't mind) or my film SLR...
