Coincidental that I just uploaded a shot of my little evil devil. But I'll need to get something better than this if I decide to enter. |

I wish I a $ for every time I've entered a pic in a challenge and then another challenge is announced that the pic was probably better suited to. Here's my 'Light on White':

With 30 days of practice on this during October, there's finally a challenge where I stand a half a chance of getting a decent score. |

Okay, what say you: does a pet portrait involve a pet ONLY or would a human and pet be okay....thinking ahead of replies I am supposing that sticklers will say "Pet Only".... but then what constitutes a pet? Teachers may have pets in their classes and they are far from the canine/feline variety??? So might I not include a pet and a human pet? |

Well, rats. Here's a challenge I'd love to enter, but I suspect it will be rather, umm, challenging. I'm living in a hotel - no lights, no props, no background worth of shooting against. Bah! |

I JUST did a pet portrait for the first time in a year.... 2 weeks later this challenge. Great. :P

I have three non-photogenic pets -- a betta fish, an african dwarf frog (completely water-dwelling), and a ghost shrimp. Fooey, I guess I'll have to enter the other challenge! Unless anyone has brilliant ideas how to photo any of these guys!

How about lining them up and calling it "The Food Chain"?? |

I'd venture to suggest that you could define pet any way you like, but if you choose to venture too far from the norm, be prepared for a low score. |

You could always shoot a friend or neighbor's pet. I think I may go that direction since you guys have seen quite enough of Lexi.
