FYI:

This morning's Today show just did a report on stock photography. I thought it was interesting that the mainstream press was reporting on the subject.

They introduced the subject to the audience by saying that many people may be experiencing deja vu because of seeing the same photos in different and unrelated ads.

They claimed this may create a shift back to unique custom-created photography. Of course, they completely overlooked the concept of royalty free versus rights managed.

I just thought this was interesting. I guess they read the Wall Street Journal article.

All this fresh-found publicity will probably propel more people with a digital camera to try and get onto the microstock bandwagon.

It might also reinvigorate the market for rights managed images.
