i was just curious as to what lenses people here would recommend for low light?
more specifically, low light wedding situations.
i read some reviews of some of the f/1.4 lenses.
does anyone have a favorite?
any input would be appreciated.
thanks. |

50mm F1.4, baby! I shoot 80% of my wedding shots with that lens. I only switch to other lenses for reach when needed or special effects (like fisheye or lensbaby).

the Canon 50mm f/1.8 mkII is the first to come to mind. The 50mm f/1.4 would be a good choice too albeit more expensive.
Need a bit more telephoto? The 85mm f/1.8 gets good reviews too.
