Hi guys and gals.
I would really like some feedback on this 'prototype' design for my site.
It's still work in progress at the moment, so let's hear it!
The good, the bad but hopefully not the ugly.
Thanks alot.

Take a look at it in other browsers like firefox. the g in your name is getting sliced off. Correct that, and not too bad. As a professional web designer/master, I really like the simplicity that you have gone for. It doesn't take away from the content, and that is my favorite type of site. I hate when artists, and photogs go so overboard with their sites, that it takes away from their work.

The content seems a bit out of place on the front page, but maybe you are going for that.

And Kudos on going the CSS route as opposed to tables, although I don't care for the frames. :)

Works fine here: IE 6.
I also like the 'less is more' simple design. Nice start.

Thanks guys.
I'm using Firefox and don't see anything cut off kdeleon. :S

I wouldn't of used frames if i knew a different way of doing it. I would like it all centering and to be an apprpriate scale for whatever res the viewer is running, but i don't know how to do that either, :P

Looks good!

Maybe white background with grey frames in simpleviewer.

Look a bit like my site - meyerandlewinsky.com

(( I see the cut off too ))

Overall I agree with the others... Less is certainly more. When you're showcasing photography, it's always best to let your work stand out more than your website... KUDOS on going that route.

Nitpicks...

I hate the font.... personal preference, but I really do despise Times New Roman. I'm not sure about he space between your name and the " . com". Your menu on the left should be aligned at the top of the frame rather than the bottom/middle. To me it feels unbalanced particularly on the home page where your text is located entirely over your navigation. I'm also not a big fan of simpleviewer but since it's a hobby site and not a professional site, that's not much of an issue.

Certainly a great start! You're moving in the right direction IMHO.

My $0.02 USD. Take it for what it's worth.
