Team 400D Anyone? - DPChallenge Forums

So Far We Got:

Hello!

I am elated to share that I am a new owner of a 400D! Had to work some serious extra jobs to raise the funds.

I am SUPER excited & wanna get into using it regularly & getting back into DPC like I was when I first started.

So here is the proposition:
Develop a team of 400D users where at least one or more of our teammates participate in each challenge. When there is more than one, we average the scores to get one score.

We can compete with other groups on our own & see how we fair against them.

Basically, I would like this to be more of an individual group challenge where we push each other to take more risks & be more creative and raise our collective scores week by week.

Other ideas are more than welcome as I would like the development of this to be collective.

What do you think?

enjoy your new purchase.. on paper it looks like a pretty serious camera for an `entry level` DSLR. I wish my 5D had sensor cleaning..

I'm not on any teams yet...I just bought a new XTi... :)

But i'm still learning, so I don't want to bring down your scores if i was on your team! But if you're willing to take that risk, I'm all for it. :

Hey Hey! Yes, please join! We are working to be better fotogs! We are just challengin ourselves to be better, it ain't hardcore competition. Even if it were hardcore, I would still wanna play with you. :)

So I was thinking that we enter challenges, one or more team members entering each challenge. After the challenge is over, we post our pix & average our scores. I would like us to give each other critical feedback that we can use to better our fotography and increase our scores from week to week, challenge to challenge. When our average scores decrease, we can work together to figure what we did that worked well what didnt work. Give each other feedback on being incresingly more creative and taking risks with our work.

What do you think? Do you have any ideas?
Hopefully, I can shoot my idea for the headgear challenge 2nite so I will be able to enter that one. How about you?

Sounds awesome!

I hope I can enter all the challenges though!

I also would like to shoot the headgear one tonight.... I won't be home until around 9, but I have an idea, so hopefully 3 hours will be enough to pull it off. :)

I would LOVE to get feedback, advice, and encouragement. So I'm excited to be on a team!

Mee too! I think it's okay if we done enter all the challenges. Maybe if we get mor people at some point we can have at least one tea member in a challenge. For now, it would be good for me to learn from another person with the same cam and get some good feedback too.

Hey there,

I would like to be part of this but I cannot promise that I can enter every challenge. I have entered only a few. Mostly because I feel like I have no time to drive somewhere after work and take pics....and also because I am no creative genius.

Maybe this will help me get more motivated and get more ideas.

I am just afraid to let my team down....this is just for fun, right, LOL.

I really need help and I want to learn...

I have not had a chance to do much. Really busy and no chance to get out. I am looking forward to the upcoming challenges though...I am wanting to enter some.
