Good Day All.
After the loss of my Bullterrier a couple of weeks ago (See Here The Details)) I bought a Bedlington Terrier. These dogs apparently looks just like Sheep when they grow up.
This is a photo of my daughter with her new Puppy
Anybody out there with a Bedlington? Please send me some photos and advice on them.

Can't believe that I am the only one on DPC with a Bedlington Terrier. In South Africa they are not a very common breed. First time in my life that I even heard of one, never mind own one. |

There are NO weird looking puppies!!! To me, they're all adorable. Great shot. I know this little pup will bring happiness to you all. Thanks for sharing.
I've never heard of this breed either! Former Chow-Chow guy.

Heh heh, pretty cute idea to post pics of your puppy on a site named "eye fetch" :) Cute kid & pet you have there!
FWIW, I've never heard of that breed either. I have Jack Russell that I've shown here on several occasions... jrt's are great dogs. Hope you enjoy yours. |

I have often seen photos of Bedlington Terriers, but in all my years (which include living in Germany, Australia and the US) I only recall ever seeing ONE of them in the flesh.

I did a search on Google - Man these are a funny looking breed. Apparently very good pet - they look like sheep. |

Congratulations on the new little one!
Find yourself a VERY good groomer. Not many groomers know how to properly groom a Bedlington, there just aren't that many of them around. If you have problems finding someone who knows what to do, feel free to PM me and I will send you the proper grooming instructions. (I am a very experienced groomer and have groomed quite a few Bedlingtons over the years.)
Have fun - this link will take you to a photo of a properly groomed Bedlington.

Bedlingtons are incredibly rare. They are so awesome looking as adults tho, like little lambs. Congrats on your new baby. |

That is a super cute puppy. I'm sorry about the lose of your doggy friend :( It's always hard when they go. But on a happier note I hope your new pup bring you years of joy and happiness! From the looks of the photo he already is :) |
