The "Suck Gang" aka "Team Suck" are accepting nominations for two distinguished sucker awards.

An OOBIE sucker is awarded to an "Out Of the Box" entry in a DPChallenge, something that meets the challenge in a creative fashion that DPC voters might not have properly appreciated.

A YAPPIE sucker is given to a commentor for either a particular comment or a history of great comments.

The coveted sucker award looks like this:

So if you have ideas for someone who should get an OOBIE or a YAPPIE, please post your suggestions in this thread.

Hairlessman for an OOBIE:

Not only is it an elegant still life, it meets the challenge in several creative ways. First, the vase shape is is lit in a dramatic chiaroscuro fashion, from the side, emphasizing its elegant form. Second, because it is through a window, we have the play of light through the window and reflected off of the window. Shots with reflections by their very nature become studies in light.

for the morning challenge. This was extremely brave, and yes, we ALL do this in the morning. Placed 182 out of 187.
