My Profile
New Member to DPC. Looking for some additional feedback on some initial photos I have posted. I am completely new to photography. Equipped myself with a decent camera and am looking to tune some skills. Thanks very much for the help.

Critique Club doesn't generally work this way. It's set up to critique photos from challenges (after the challenge is complete) when the photographer has checked a box on their submission form.
For feedback on photos in your portfolio, your best bet is to post 1 or 2 to the forums under the heading "Individual Photograph Discussion." Be sure to indicate what kind of feedback you want...technicals, composition, impact, etc. You can use the photographer comment section of your photo to provide more details to your would-be critiquers...it's helpful to know what the photographer was trying to achieve whether it's about the subject or the conditions under which the image was taken.
And, welcome! It looks like you've been lurking for quite a few years...glad you decided to join the visible world. :)

| Mike, I and a few other members left some comments for you the other day in response to a similar thread. I notice that you haven't marked any of them as helpful - which is a good way of acknowledging that you read the comments. Of course, it's also possible that you just didn't find the comments helpful, which is fine. But I wondered if you'd seen the feedback you've received so far? |
