ARGH!!!

I'm so sad, mad, everything at myself. I completely forgot today was the day you could get tickets for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy Tuesday (Selective theaters will be showing the extended versions of Fellowship & Two Towers and finally the Return of the King all in a row on Dec. 16th, my theater starts at 2pm) and of course its all sold out.

They are doing it as a one shot deal, so I can't even go another day and do the 10 hour o' movies thing. I'm so annoyed with myself!

I'm hoping they offer it again once the movie is officially out and going, I totally wanted to see all three at once - especially wanted to see the extended versions on the big screen too.

Hmph.

I was waiting for them to do this. Haven't seen any of them yet. Same for the new Star Wars trilogy. Waiting for them to show all 6 episodes.Pretty sure that the Matrix trilogy will also be shown in a row.

Yeah there's a list of U.S. theaters on lordoftherings.net (under events I think), not sure if info on the UK would be there too or not.

Likely, they are all sold out already as it is.

They are doing a couple of days with the two extended versions, 1 & 2 together though. Those might still have tickets left.

no, I saw when the list went up on lordoftherings.net (mmm, could call me something of a lotr film geek) - UK is never on the official site, no events listings, no cometitions, etc. etc.

torn (theonering.net) is good for info, but no cinemas in the UK have confirmed any kind of trilogy tuesday over here. bah :(

Can always rent/borrow/buy the two out DVD and watch with some friends. See who has the biggest tv and have your own mini-preview and then go to the theater together. :-)

I'm personally waiting until they decide to release all three films back-to-back in extended editions, making for a full 12hour session! Oh, and don't forget that some IMAX cinemas are now showing Matrix:Reloaded on their HUGE screens, and will also be showing Matrix:Revolutions when it comes out!!! :o)
