Okay, so its not quite that far along in development, but I am pretty amazed at the progress scientists have already made in 'cloaking' technology.

Who knows, maybe we'll all be able to have a sort of cloaking device for the home in the future!

Don't want that gigantic TV to stand out from your French country decor? No problem, it comes with self cloaking! 'Course you really wouldn't want to lose the remote now. ;)

Here's the link to story about invisibility cloaking, what do you all think??

Yeah, I was just reading about this in the newspaper this morning... very cool, eh? I have already thought of plenty of cool things I could do invisibly!

Does this mean that Kirk and Spoke won't have to steal it from the Klingons?

Ooooh... street candids... ribbons here I come :-)

"People won't see you, but you also won't see them, so it's not the same as Harry Potter's cloak."

Well don't that just suck! Forget those ribbons :-(

All they are doing is bending microwaves for now, and even that not too efficiently. I was thinking, if they do make a good invisibility cloak, would you need to keep the camera outside, or would it still work inside the cloak? :-)
