Hi,
I searched but can't find an answer. Perhaps someone could help.
How long do we have to keep the originals (proof) and post-editing steps for our challenge entries? 30 days? 6 months? (do we really need this long?) Can we safely ditch our originals and forget about how we post-processed it after a few weeks?
p/s: I know many may think it is stupid to destroy the originals but I'm just asking because there are originals from challenge entries which I have no interest in keeping, especially not in RAW. Thanks |

so can I request for 2004's ribbon winners to show their originals?
I doubt all of them are still active... |

It is very highly unlikely that the SC would request the original for anything older than 6 months.
Definitely not from 2004. :) |

Unless we have a "Best of 2004" challenge sometime ... but then hopefully you'll have kept the best images.
Personally, I keep them all, at least on backup media (CD/DVD), although so far I'm only dealing with JPEGs < 5MB, not the bigger RAW files. |
