Trying to figure out my reflector...I started to like this one after I looked at it a while. Little bit of photoshop on it, what do you guys think?

It's a bit too much for me. I think maybe you didnt need it so close. the lighting on the legs actually looks very very good. you may not have needed a reflector really at all. does that make sense?

Yes absoultely, this was one of the shots that was a screw up...but I sort of liked the effect...I guess what I'm asking is if it should have gone in the bin instead lol.

lol. well, no if you like it, it belongs where you want it. I dont think i'd give up on it but i'd probabaly go more extremem with the processing and really utilize the ethereal light youve captured on her. beautiful model by the way. i'd probably use levels in soft light for starters(if you use photoshop) i think that would be beautiful.

Thanks for the ideas. Do you mean use levels AND softlight? Could you give me an example or a little more detail. I know how to use the levels window a little but I'm not sure about the softlight part. Thanks!

when you use levels you have mode options like normal, luminosity, pin light, hard light, soft light. etc.. soft light makes a contrasty colorful effect i think would be nice for your shot. you can move the sliders adn tone it down a tad from what it presets as well. kinda like the this shot of mine. not the best photo jsut a self portrait outtake but it shows what processing i mean.

Thanks for posting that and the info! I'll play with the levels for sure! I set the contrast to high in the raw converter so I might go back and start with normal contrast and then try and use only the levels. Thanks.
