Spent a bit of time at the RenFest in Texas yesterday. Would love to hear comments on the pictures I took.

Very cool pics Gordon! My girlfriend and I are headed there in a few weeks too... Looking forward to getting some pics myself!

Whoa. Bingo! That is one helluva shot.

All good stuff. I like the knights on horseback shots too, especially the panned one.

Agreed, that one really jumped out at me as I was going through them. All excellent shots, love the belly dancers also.

Awesome shots! I love them all.

Yeah, I too want to take a trip to the festival. I've never been, and I love the commercials for it they've been playing on the radio stations. It sounds like an exciting experience.

Was the first time I've been - it was a lot better organised than I expected and we had a great time. The shot of Merlin is one of my favourites too.

Pretty cool shots. One question though. Why on Earth is there a jousting competition at a Renaissance Festival????

Seriously? I've never been to one. Why doesn't someone just change the name to Medieval Festival or Middle Ages Festival? Seems kind of like moving the Indy 500 to Duluth, MN but still calling it the Indy 500... Weird.

Looks like some cool photo opps, anyway, that's for sure!

Um, ever know people that liked to play Dungeons and Dragons?

This is just an extension of that.
