took this yesterday from our back porch.

Nice shot. Where in Vermont are you? I'm a little surprised that the leaves haven't changed more. I'm headed up to VT tomorrow afternoon.

near burlington - up higher i imagine they have started more
its been wet
looking next to mount mansfield in that photo ( stowe )
where you headed?

I grew up near Middlebury...used to go to the Fair in Essex Junction

I'm going to Peacham, near Montpelier. And yeah, the weather report isn't looking too good.

foliage is prbably better there than here though
the lake affects the leaves change time, makes it a bit later, and less dramatic i think.
have a good trip.
