Hey, I had a client ask me for golf pictures the other day, of which I have none. They're to be made into prints for his office. My question is, can I use microstock photos, for example from Shutterstock? Or is this illegal usage, as it would essentially be reselling the photograph, where I would be a middle man. The client seems OK with me outsourcing the work, so that's not an issue. Just curious about the legal aspects.
Thanks for any help.
PS - If any of you would have golf photos you're willing to sell, I'll certainly give you more than the 25 cents you'd get at Shutterstock.

Not my photo, but this is the one that immediately came to mind from DPC. I have no idea if  btuck is willing to sell prints.

| Check out the terms of use on each micro/macro stock site you're looking at. I don't think reselling is allowed. Images are allowed for promotional/website material (in general). |

It's not allowed unless you "buy out" the photo. There is someone on here with tons of golf images, but for the life of me I can't remember who it is.

| Standard licenses won't let you, but as kdsprog says most of the micro sites now have 'extended' licenses which would allow you to do that. |
