Yea, what's up with this finish.....5.7. You have to be kidding me. This was easily one of the best in the challenge.

my 9s and 10s which haven't already been posted here:

btw, it's fun to look at the comments for your underrated favorites and see who else likes it. in this challenge, I noticed a lot of similar picks with azoychka and magenmarie. RKT was right with me on b/w shots, while Ivory and fabioyamauti were often with me on some of my quirkier picks. There were others, too. Yet another reason for people to comment!

I no longer try to pick the winner, but this was my favorite. I love the colors backlit against the moon.

Thanks guys, to posthumous, Germaine, Ivory and Alain for either mentioning the snapdragons here or favoriting. It was a fun shoot, and I got to have snapdragons in my apartment for a few days :)

Another one that got buried a little too far down (IMO anyway)

Here's a perfectly average rule of thirds shot that deserves its placement :-) So close to 5.5 as makes no difference, and an eminently forgettable image. It's "perfect" rule of thirds, and that's about all it has going for it :-)

I think what hurt that shot is that the normal voters look so quick they'd have registered that the large lady bug is fake and figured the small one was too. i only realized the real lady bug after looking at it, reading the comments and then studying it a second time. most challenge photos dont get the benefit of a second look. a shame but thats the way it goes.
