So many of us have given this technique a try lately, I thought we needed a place to gather them all together for general discussion and how-to. I've seen soooooo many nice ones, but I will leave it to each photographer to show the ones they wish to share rather than to post for them.

Here is mine, most of the information is included in the comments, but I'll hapily answer questions.

PS, I'd also like to see a "composite" or "multiple-exposure" gallery added. :)

While not as intricate as yours...I did do two shots for this. One is the total photo and the second is the lighting on the flowers. I didn't want the glare from lighting on the flowers to show on the glass.

How I did it is in the Photographer's Comment Section. I will also answer questions if I can.

Gary's (Kiwiness') composites are my favorites. Maybe he'll spot this thread and share some of his other creations with us.

How are y'all doing this? Are you taking multiple shots then layering them?

Yes, you layer all of your shots in PS, then erase out the parts of each layer that need to be 'see-through'. Its really easy once you get going.

I don't like to erase so I mask out the parts I don't want showing through in case I make a mistake and have to fix it later on.

I am gonna have to try this. It looks really fun! I wish they would set up a gallery just for these types of shots. It owuld be so much fun to look at all of them.

I agree. I mask as well. I do it one layer at a time then I flaten and add the next layer.

In my first and only experiment (see post above), I didn't know how to work with masks yet, so I just erased the parts with the eraser. That works too, but you gotto be careful with the steps you take.

Though not nearly as great as yours, here is a landscape composite.

Mine has cats in (or well just the one cat). I think I should get out more but I'm happy as is, heh..

It's fun doing these though and surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it.

Here is one I did last year. Very rushed and certainly not the best composite. I might do another for this challeng.
