If I had the money I would really like to get it. Since all of the accessories you have for the camera can also be used in my current camera. Need to buy lotto tickets this week;)

Did you use the Canon EOS-10D to take a picture of the Sony F717?

How long have you had your Canon 10D, How much better is it than the F717?...is it easier to use and how's the output(print) compared to the F717?

I've had the camera a week. Still learning the mechanics of it. The camera offers much more control and flexibility. There is much less noise in prints because of the CMOS sensor. The biggest drawback is the price of really good glass.

Bump one last time. Just want to make sure everyone that might be interested sees this. It would make an excellent setup for somebody.

My Sony F717 will be a year old in October. They weren't available until October of last year.

After doing some thingking I too might like to swap my F717 for a Sony V1 or a Canon G5...might not be worth it in the end, though, if I can't gain a few bucks back after taxes etc. on the new camera. It would be nice to have a pocketable camera, even if those two cameras are still on the long side...
