How is onrequestimages.com? I read not so great things about it and wanted to got some perspective from somone who belongs to them. How are the sales there?

I was in it some time ago. The same company ran the now defunct "Digital Photo Contest" site which was like the premier POTD site until July, 2005 and they just closed it up. Heard that it was too much of hassle to run and wasn't making any money or something like that. On Request gave out assignments. You shoot for the assignment and then submit and hope your shot gets chosen. If an image was selected, you got a percentage of the fee they charged. I do not recall if you could submit anything other than what was requested in an assignment. Not sure of all this cause my participation was extremely limited.

thanks. Photographersdirect.com runs in similar manner and I've made quite a few sales there just from the requests. They only charge 20% though, that's why I was wondering how things were on onrequestimages.com and if anyone made sales there.
