Does anyone have the 931BF? I'm new to LCD monitors and find images and computer graphics rather jaggy.Maybe I'm sitting too close? Whites look too bright but everything looks too grayish if I turn down the monitor brightness. Not sure it's calibrated properly either but when I start fidgeting with the software and or my video card settings it looks worse. Can anyone help? Thanks

you're fighting a loosing battle.. the 931BF uses a 2ms TN panel which is 18bit colour not 24bit..

what does this mean? the panel is using dithering to produce 24bit colour - most users won't notice the difference but if you're doing colour critical stuff ie. Processing Photos, you'll notice it..

jaggy? are you connected via DVI or Analogue? or it could be that you're not used to having the crisp output that a TFT (LCD) will give..

make sure you're using it at native resolution (1280x1024)

I've got it on digital not Analog at the top res.Definitely not use to the crisp output. Don't like the 18bit not 24bit idea. How come this is not mentioned in info. How does one know/find out whether a monitor is 24 bit or not? Thanks for your help folks.

most manufacturers website will show you spec's - Viewsonic is very good about saying what bit their TFT will display, the same for Formac

if you want to know what type of display a monitor has - type the model number in to this site - //www.flatpanels.dk/panels.php

As far as I know, the easiest clue is 16.2M colors (vs 16.7M for 24bit ones).

According to specs - it's a 24 bit

This page lists 16.2M colors. Also, a response time less than 8ms is usually related to non-24bit LCDs.
