How about doing a challenge titled "Fall."
Capture your best fall/Autumn image. This one might be best if we wait until mid September.

And do a second (open) challenge called "Spring" for the other half of the globe?

I suppose I could be accused of being lost in my own little world (probably much truth to that). I suppose you could consider modifying the challenge (to make it fair worldwide) and call the challenge --- (after looking at challenge history) "Seasonal Shots II."
Maybe not an original idea... I'll keep trying.
