Hi dear photographers!
My name's Fabio, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Brazil.
For months I've been folowing DPC but only now I decided to post some of my photos.
These were taken on a Festival, near my home. Hope you enjoy it and I'd appreciate some critiques.
Sorry about my English...

Oi, Fabio,
Welcome to DPC. Your english is fine. :) I'm also from Brazil, but living in the US.
I really like the pictures, although the natural light wasn't very kind for you. In my opinion, the shadows hurt some of your photos a little.
But you have very nice compositions... which festival was it?

Olá, mecfosta!
Thank you for the reply and comments =) Yes, the light was to hard for outdoor photography that day... Not even a single cloudy in the sky and it was near midday. The festival was "The Cherry Trees Festival" at Pq. do Carmo, Itaquera - SP.
So, you're from Brazil! From which part?
Regards,
Fabio

Hi Fabio, and welcome to the madhouse!
Those are some nice, colorful shots. I think Ms Costa is right about the lighting and shadows though. Some softer light might have worked better. I think you did a great job with the colors.
You might try getting some closer shots of those pink blossoms. BTW, are those cherry trees?

Very nice! I've always wanted to try shooting cherry blossoms. Maybe I watched too many Japanese KungFu movies or something. :D

I don't see why not. I've posted photos from my SmugMug site many times, and I've seen others do it too. You might want to signup for a membership here though. It's easier to post your photos and easier for us to leave comments on them. You also get a larger selection of challenges to choose from. You are going to enter challenges, aren't you?

Would you prefer Maria? I didn't want to presume since we have not yet been properly introduced. :)

Welcome Fabio..
What beautiful photos you have posted. My favorite is the single cherry blossom. Congratulations, and welcome again.
