Hey all.

I was on a quest to get some modeling shoots done to increase my business portfolio and advance my name in the area a little bit. I decided that I would run a modeling promotion.

I created a new link on my main page of my website to the promotion information and signup form. Basically I was promoting to aspiring models and I decided I would do free shoots with a free CD of the models images (not full size but High Res).

I set up the form which can be seen here (www.kgportraits.com/currentpromotion.htm) and then I advertised it on Craigslist.

I put the craigslist advertisement up this morning at 10 AM. It is now 2:14 PM and I have booked two models and am waiting to hear back from 7 others. Thats 9 models in 4 hours.

I will put their images up and let them order prints from them as well in an attempt to possibly make some money but orders are not required.

Just wanted to let you know if you are looking for a way to find free models.

Cross posting for archives. ;)

How do you find models (NOT family / friends)?

No hijacking just offering another alternative that gets quick results as well.

By the way I am getting ready to plan a GTG in Atlanta keep an eye out in the forums.

Definately - I've been hoping to get in on one but I'm always working when they are scheduled. Sundays are best for me; or saturdays after like 3PM. I know its hard to fit everyones schedule in but those are the times I can usually get there.

Hows that sigma of yours? You like it? I need a 300mm capable lens and can't decide which one.
