I'm sitting at my computer trying finishing editing a book cover, when realize: I have no clue how to extend an image.
all I need is to create an extension on the cover by 5/8th of an inch. I'm sure it's super simple, but I would be greatful for some help. |

If by extending you mean that you want the image to remain the same size, but you want to add to the "canvas", You want to create a border of sorts.
Image > Resize > Canvas Size. Insert values.
From what I'm reading you only want to extend on 1-3 side an not all 4. Just select the side you don't want the extend and your there. |
