I was reading a book and they were talking about getting near-studio quality with available light out of a product called a fuzzyflector? Has anyone ever heard of this?

I saw images that were apparently taken with it...using it to bounce light from a window and an open garage door...pictures looked fantastic. They referred to it as a fuzzyflector i believe. Just wondering if anyone has any clue?

its not an on camera attachment...im assuming its something you hold.

Do the car reflectors really work that well?

Big flexible shiny things that are cheap, lightweight and easily stored away? Yes. Get one in gold, too.

Metallic winshield reflectors are way too harsh for me. the light isn't very uniform and often streaky because of the uneven surface. save your pennies and buy an inexpensive reflector kit like this. Only $46 and 10 times better light than the windshield reflector. They also fold down to a little pancake. :)

Bit late (only been a year since this thread was last active :) ), but this is the Fuzzyflector I do believe:

He also has something called a L-gobo:

Both sound a bit expensive since all you get is some parts, then need to find the 4*8 board and assemble it yourself.
