I have just gotten a little shop downtown, bought a laptop and printer to work off of. Can I use my Elements and CS2 software? Will Adobe allow me to use the programs on both computers or do I need to buy another program? If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. :O) TY in advance

the terms of use on Photoshop CS2 i know say you can have two installations (like for your situation). i dunno about elements, but i would assume so.

Yeah I think Elements allows two installations too. The key thing is that you can only use one of them at once.

Edited to add - that's the license restriction, there's no programmatical restriction on the retail versions. You could install multiple versions.

I can't comment on Elements, but CS2 will only allow you to activate the software on two machines at any given time (although you can transfer the activation)

Ahh. They don't seem to have added that function to Elements yet. Doubtless it'll be in version 5.

Great!! Thank you all for taking the time to fill me in. I will only be using one at a time, and am getting used to CS2 now..(don't have to rely so much on the easier Elements). Just wanted to be able to still work on my computer at night where the majority of my files are, and just work @ work during the day. Thanks again
