Minnesota. just this afternoon I was sitting in my bedroom watching tv and I look out the window to see a mother deer and her fawn. So, I quickly grabbed the camera, and thought my god, I love living here. Where do you love living?

Minnesota is pretty sweet. Our white tailed deer are way over populated, but it makes for interesting sightings, thats for sure.

What I realy love about living in MN is our 10,000+ lakes.

Edit @ BradP: Ugg. There is plenty of that here too. Unfortunetly.

Well, I love living on Cape Cod enough that I emigrated from (gasp) Southern California when I retired, so I could be here. It's one of the great places in America IMO. The weather is ever-changing, the landscape of seashore and marshes is sublime, It's a hoot living on a sandbar in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and if you can survive the tourist-infested summers there's just no downside to it at all from a photographer's perspective...

Wow. ShutterPug, I am so envious. I looked into several colleges in the UP... but I figured it wouldn't be a wise thing to choose a place based soley on the weather they expirence. Great shots, btw.

Damn my luck, living in Oklahoma City...all I can take pictures of is the dust blowing in my back yard.

Trail, British Columbia - never a dull moment at the factory :)

We had forest fire smoke come down into the valley a couple nights ago, and it made for a great sunset - otherwise we hardly ever have sunsets.

While I don't reside in the State of Washington, I have had the great pleasure of visiting with Beetle of DPC, and thanks to her generosity and patience have managed to capture the following images.

I can appreciate that this is a boatload of images, but I honestly did try to cut it down to a few.........honest.

I love living near the Great Lakes, and other, smaller freshwater lakes.
