I got roasted pretty bad in the lines challenge with a score of 5.2. It wasn't really a great shot but I figured I should have got to 5.5 atleast.

I did receive very helpful comments from yanko(Great focus on lines. This would work better in my opinion if it was purely b/w and you made the whites or in this case grays, whiter.) and eyewave(well seen, but a bit too dark and too noisy). Eyewave also sent me further suggestions along the lines of exposing better and lightening the grays.

I thought I'd try their suggestions and see what you guys thought of the results. So .. which one do you prefer.. and would it have made that 0.3 difference ?

Of these, levels-bw I find preferable. Another way to improve would be to crop off the part of the photo where the building ends and the sky begins - it does nothing but bring an unwelcome end to the eye's travel along those great perspective lines. My mind wants it to go on into infinity.

I third that. Run some noise reduction software over it and you're good to go :)
