Love what I've seen. You really do people very well. I wish I was able to capture people the way you do. Your work is very good and I'm sure myself and others will learn much from you.

I think I found a new mentor, if he will have me.

It would be a bad thing if your work was crap after 33 years, right? (j/k)

Anyway, looks very nice. Love your "personal" (nude) work, great styling.

Hope to see more from you soon, and I agree with cryan: "I'm sure myself and others will learn much from you."

:)

Nice work Bruce, you definately seem to know what you are doing. I also have real fun shooting fashion or "fasihionesque" photographs, It´s what I hope I´ll be doing in the future. Keep up the good work and by all means start entering challenges, I think more pros should do so as it raises the bar here and that can only be a good thing.

If I had not undertaken the Munster Nude and Glamour workshop I would not have appreciated what goes into fashion photography. These shots are astounding anyhow but looking at them through better educated eyes - kudos!

Yours this photo reminds me of

The Veiled Rebecca

//www.berkshiremuseum.org/images/pics/g_art_ebecca.jpg

Sorry I could not find the better image of this statue so it would be difficult to understand what I am talking about.
Or simply put, the statue look very close to your photo if seen standing in front of it.
(its a great piece of art)

Very nice.

Your sense of timing and flow are probably what turn my head the most.

The tone is great too...

I like the softness in that close bikini portrait with the really soft pastel look.

FWIW, your website layout is pretty decent too.

Whats up Bruce!?! Very impressed by what you have in your portfolio. I'm particularly a fan of those contrasty black and whites with an almost metallic feel to them. I would have liked to seen more males in your portfolio just to even it out some but either way its obvious you could shoot them successfully. This is one path that I'm considering taking up and I hope to really push my work this final year in college. Just might have to PM you for some tips every now and then. Thanks for the inspiration.

edit: Just went through the graphite album and saw all the male shots I figured you had done. Maybe you should just put a couple more up on your site.

wow, I'm impressed, you're able to really capture some great moods

I'm very jealous, not only of your ability, but of your models... like a catch 22 I suppose, I must become good to get models, but must get models to become good, lol --> I mean that lightheartedly, there is a LOT I need to learn, and much of it is the basics before using models

The question I'm sure we all want to ask is, "Why are you not a member yet?"

Thanks for posting some of your portfolio, I hope you don't mind if I call on you via the PM system for tips/advice in the (probably near) future
