Click on the "T In The Park" section at the top of the BBC website (www.BBC.co.uk) to see what I've been up to over the weekend!
Working for the BBC was amazing, they really know how to look after their staff. The catering and accomodation was great. Lovely bunch of people, we were partying till 6:00am last night. Well, that was when I went to bed, anyway.
NME have also bought one of my Primal Scream photos!
More of my photos will be added to the galleries over the week.

When I clicked, it was the "International Version". You may have to change to UK Version at the top to access.

Wow... not many replies, I'll post a link straight to the photos:

You can lauch some of the galleries from there.

They wanted photos which looked like they were Photoshopped, let me know if you think I went a bit over the top with some of them!

Looks like you had a rather busy weekend! I didn't get a chance to look through all of the galleries, but what i did see of them didn't look overdone. They actually look like they haven't been and are just really good captures.

There are some great shots in there. The skies are awesome.

BTW....I don't know if you saw this the other day.

It appears that you were right in front of me the other day and I didn't even know it. We even sat and chatted for a while...and you never let on....hmmm!!

Not all the pics are mine, most are though.
Judi... that's not me!
I actually applied for the job through an internet forum for music photographers, they guy who did it last year dropped out and let us know it was up for grabs.

Ah, I thought it was tongue in cheek but not quite sure! There are quite a few musician dopplegangers of mine floating about.

Thanks PeterC, I'm really chuffed with my timing on that shot... shame the background wasn't so good.

How much post processing did they expect you to do/carry out in house? I think that they are reasonably restrained - did you offer them anything more extreme?

They were very easy going about what I supplied... but the guy who did it last year produced quite stylised Photoshopped photos and they liked the results. They basically wanted something that looked a little different to the other photographers' shots. When there are 50 of you in the pit, Photoshop can be a great way of making the shots stand out a little. I had my laptop on-site and did the Photoshop work when it rained! Most photographers there also had laptops and had to upload the photos at regular points during the festival. That's the really hard part of the job, lots of pressure. I stayed on-site until about 1am each night working on the photos after the bands finished.

Hey guys,
I've put many of the photos on my website here: //www.eyesopen.co.uk/tinthepark
They're a bit easier to browse there than the BBC site.
Let me know what you think!

Bob,

You singlehandedly make me want to explore this avenue of photography. At the very least you are an inspiration and deserve the work and praise...

And on a DPC note, I am gonna do something only two other photographer's have gotten from me: You are now my 3rd favorited photographer I have in 18 months. You (sorry, it's coming) ROCK!!!

Thanks guys, I have quite a few more festivals and gigs coming up.
Actually, I'm shooting Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy tomorrow which I'm quite excited about!
I'm doing some of the large festivals such as V Festival, Reading and The Big Chill. I'm one of the official photographers at Womad and I'm doing loads of smaller festivals. It's a great job! I've also got a wedding on Friday. I'll keep you guys posted!
I'm putting all the photos on my blog here: eyesopenmusic.blogspot.com

Lots of great shots there. I'm particularly fond of the shot with the two guys smoking cigarettes in front of the itunes ad.
