I have a Cononpowershot s2is and for the last month I have had tons of grainy shots. I can not figure out what I did to the camera to make this happen. Any suggestions? I turned the digital zoom off, I just moved and can not find the camera's manual.
HELP ME, I hate that all these great shots end up looking crappy!!!

Check your ISO settings. Chances are you've either set the ISO really high, or it's set to AUTO. In auto-ISO, whenever your camera senses a low light situation, it will bump up the ISO to maximum.

At maximum ISO on a p&s (usually about 400 ISO), you'll notice considerable graininess. Even at 200 ISO you'll notice more graininess than normal.

Make sure the ISO is set to manual selection, and set it as low as possible (on my Canon p&s, ISO 50 is the lowest).

That's what I'd look at too. Auto-ISO is very dangerous.

That is the answer then, I was taking shots at 400 because I read somewhere to use that if you can't slow the shutter speed done to much and if you don't want to use a flash. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help.
