Hey all!
I FINALLY finished my website! Whoohooo! After some hardships and nearly throwing my laptop out the window, I've still managed to retain some of my sanity :P

I've worked VERY hard on it, and went and taught myself Dreamweaver and basic Flash in about a week. Everything is from scratch.

So yeah, basically, this is sort of a project I've taken on to make some money over the summer and stuff. The site is purely business oriented and offers services in photography, traditional art, digital art, and graphic design. It's produced some decent business and I'm hoping for a steady cash flow as we are so broke it's not even funny :P

It would mean a lot to hear some opinions and to make sure everything is working okay. I edited it on a widescreen so I had to go and format it for a regular screen, there might be pages I missed. The fonts also tend to look different sometimes. Any opinions would be awsome! THANKS!

I love the color scheme!!

I would make the stuff on the front page links though--
what I mean is the text that says photographic art, traditional art, etc, isnt clickable..

Annah...it looks good but there are a couple of things straight up.

I have a repeating front page probably because of my monitor size...but others will have the same too.

Also I immmediately went to click on the words below the image but they are unclickable...it might be an idea to link them later to there appropriate galleries.

The colours are great and you are certianly on your way to something.

I will also add the the site doesnt fit on my browser window, I dont run my browser full screen, I can stretch it fit, but for some reason there is no scrool on the bottom, I have to manually do it. (that make sense?)

Yes, I thought about the making them links. The way I originally did it makes this kind of a frustrating thing to do, but I will definatly get on that. It's still kind of in a rough stage at this point, so your opinions are really helpful, thank you!

Very nice Anna. The fonts and the red & black color scheme looks great.

You should consider making the text across the bottom of the main page (Photography Traditional Art, etc) into links.

$50 per final logo? - Sounds like you're underselling yourself. Judging by your artwork, that example logo on your website, and some logo stuff I saw you do here....

Graphic designers are charging up to $50 an HOUR for that kind of work! Have a think about whether you want to charge by project or by the hour for design work. A logo design job can go backwards and forwards to the client for weeks.

Oh, almost forgot - the website looks very clear, effective use of colour, and nice logical navigation. Haven't finished looking at it yet, I'll come back to you if I spot anything.

edit: "Just spotted the $15 per advertisement" page... hey at these rates I might throw a few ad design jobs your direction! :)

I'll make the front page text into links. I'm still working on the pricing things. I really have no idea at this point what to charge. It's hard, because I want to keep it affordable but it needs to be worth my time, especially when school starts. Again, thanks everybody! Means a lot :)

I would reconsider using flash for the left-hand links. This is most usually done with HTML and CSS for the rollover colour, or, if you really want everyone to see the font you have there, images that rollover with Javascript.

Additionally, those of us that use Explorer 6 fully patched (and we are the majority), see the "rubber band" around those flash links that needs to be clicked before we can actually use the link to click through. This is explained here.

I believe you can fix this however using Javascript as explained here.

Lets use the example of making a business logo. You have time meeting with the customer. Time designing a rough idea. Time meeting again, redraw, and over again until they are happy with it. How many hours can you see putting into that? Or, if you spend about 10 hours total on one customer, you just made less than minimum wage. Not to mention Vector art is a pretty profitable medium right now if you're good at it I think. You're probably underselling yourself.

If you're charging higher royalties for large runs of the prints, your pricing model starts to make more sense though.

Very nice, I was amazed to find out how young you are, this is a very mature site. Two things, 1 - the About link off the home page needs to be renamed from About.htm to 1About.htm. 2 - you might consider using a different font type, maybe a verdana and taking it to a 10pt. I kind of felt like you were screaming at me. Other than that you have an amazing talent. Again, very nice.

very nice but let's see here....

- Some pages say Untitled Document in the title
- In portfolio title images shows up twice on 1600x1200 resolution
- Menu bar on the left responds only when you click on link twice (I don't mean double click)
- You have some images that take too long to load even on cable. Their size is too large (//adobosarts.com/AdobosArts/Net%20Pics/Photography/People/Resized/3.png)

I like the contact section. Don't call me or email me just send me checks. Gotta fix that on my site.

It seems you almost there. Just few little things needs to be fixed.
